Sergeyev to leave for Moscow from Belgrade

SLATINA AIRPORT (Kosovo, Yugoslavia), December 24 (Itar-Tass) - Russian Defense Minister Marshal Igor Sergeyev who spent the whole of Friday in Pristina, Kosovo, will leave for Moscow from Belgrade due to bad weather conditions at Pristina's Slatina airport.

Sergeyev stayed in Yugoslavia on a two-day working visit. The minister met the Yugoslav political and military leadership on Thursday. He visited Kosovo on Friday to meet the command of the Russian military contingent in this Yugoslav province, the KFOR commander and German Defense Minister Rudolf Scharping.
